I use SS eyebolts. Just be aware that cheap SS will still rust, though the amount of time they are exposed to water probably won't cause problems.

I haven't used a fork :->..... I've used a spoon, But I didn't use a fork cause I read it pokes the plecs mouth. Is this true? If not I'll try a fork probably will hold better....

I use a fork at the moment for zucchini and a small skewer for peas.
?do you de-shell the peas?
peas sink! if you use frozen peas put them in a boil with warm water they will defrost then squeze them the peas will come free from its shell, and it will sink.

as for keeping other foods down I also use a fork i have a few of those screwthings but dont use them as much as forks, I find it easyer.

there is a guy from here who sells them, should come up from a search

i use a length of straight marine grade SS rod to feed my Bn's and plecs there cucumber, etc.
i did roll one up at work so it looked like those screwcumbers, its works ok , it can be a bit difficult to get food on it but it does the job.

My husband has stollen my GOOD forks from my GOOD cuttlery set and straightened them in the vice to weigh down his zucchini.

Hence he is still living in the dog kennel and owes me a new expensive set.
