Hi everyone in need of some help I think. I have a group of 9 sterbai that have been spawning constantly for the past 4 weeks or so. But I havent had any luck hatching a single egg I have tried leaving the eggs in the tank and also putting them in fry trap with a airstone but nothing eggs go white then get fungus on them :( getting quite frustrated now fish are very healthy
tank perameters are as follows:
ph 6.4
gh 2
kh 2
tds 50
nitrates and ammonia are not a probelm as I do 2 30% wc per week
Any help with this much appreciated. cheers matt

helllo there- totally understand the frustration... or rage as i call it.!

how old are your corys?
just thinking because sometimes they can spawn but not be mature enougth and shoot out blanks!
what method are you using to move the eggs?
you could be contaminating the eggs with equiptment or exposing them to the air for to long?

I am not an expert but have had some experience...i am sure others can help you more.
stay calm and remember to breath.
keep us up to date.

have to take them out into separate tank or fine net fry saver (the plastic sort dont usually work as the young get out then eaten.)
try adding some cherry shrimp or water louse to the fry tank as they will eat fungus and stop it spreading to the other eggs.
