Woke up this morning and my Sturisoma Panamense have spanwned  there is about 50 eggs on the glass:clap: i have some pictures but i cant seem to upload them :wb: i get this message Sorry, 816johnv: Bad File - No File or File is too Large or of the Wrong MIME Type

has anyone had any look raising the fry? ive heard there not easy to raise due to the fact they wont go looking for food, will i be best leaving the eggs on the glass or should i remove them to my fry trap? that way if they hatch i can put food next to them hopefully stopping them from starving?

any help please

Congrats on the spawn! sounds like your pics are too big. Most photo software has an option to resize photos. the other option that works for me is to upload pictures one at a time, the site seems to accept them easier:dk:

well done, leave the eggs on the glass.

scatz has bred some, some with more success than others, I think you need lots of algae covered rocks and wood for the young to graze on.
what tank mates have you got in with them?

I think Mark has bred them too, or at least another type of sturisoma, i saw them in a fry trap all munching on a lettuce leaf.
