Substrate preference

Hi All

I was wondering what substrate preference L200 and L240 you guys were using?? I use sand in all my other tanks but they have hypans and BN in mainly.

hi Ricky,
for the L200 sand or soft rounded gravel is fine, i have used it for L128's , pretty much the same plec, and they did not mind it at all, and I know of members who have L200's and use sand ,so I would not matter. As for the L240, you'll need to hear from others as I am unfamiliar with their needs.

sand, not too thick and stir every few weeks or so where thick areas build up.
