Hello everyone,

I have 1 synodontis catfish (2.5 inches) and 1 sailfin pleco (2.5 inches)
I was informed by my lfs that when i buy a synodontis i could not have any smaller fish, as they will be eaten or stressed.
So, what fish ARE compatiable??
I quite like the look of cories.....are these okay?
Thanks, BPK :)

It depends a lot on what Syno you have. Some get really large & some are more aggressive/territorial than others. Some though are pretty passive. Do you know what yo've got?

It gets large for one thing. I've got a decorus in my tank. Gets along pretty well with most fish. Only really gets into it with other synos. I've housed it with much smaller fish of many types without any instances. It isn't a species of synos that is typically known to be a trouble-maker.

it is my view that corys are best in a schooling group of 5minimum. Keep in mind your water temp, as some corys do not like water above 26C. cheers jk
