Gday,

Im still a bit unsure of the tank setup for L's and seen plenty of good ideas so heres a picture of my 3x18x18. Hoping people will spot out things that could make it better.
I plan on putting a sandy substrate down this week and may move the 6xL333's to a bigger tank.
Thanks.

I would move the powerfilter to the same side as the canister intake.
Point the nozzle upwards so it hits the far side and creates a current along the bottom to draw debris up to the canister intake.

I would also move the large driftwood and let it sit over two of the left caves.
Move it more toward the caves opening so females can hide under there and be close to the males in the log.

Put the lesser driftwood over the other two caves on the right side and perhaps have the plant pot right in the middle to separate the two pairs of logs. This makes two individual areas to stop fighting for territory. Males like to have their own log within sight.

Put a heater cover on the heater or small ones will hide up under it and burn themselves.

I would also add perhaps an airsponge filter, just in case that air attachment on the powerfilter falls off and to connect a battery backup to run an airpump should the electricity go down.

I would add silica sand. Also replace the plastic tub with plats with a terracotta pot. Would also try and cover the top of the caveswith slate, rock or driftwood. Just some tips. cheers jk
