i have bred a pair in a 2 foot tank, and also in a 3 footer, bigger is always better though for growing the fry out

cheers for that Scatz

I was eondering about the 2ft as I have a spare one... Since I got rid of all my tanks I;m struggling. Need to sell my house and get my big old victorian house where I can get a load of tanks andgo for lots of breeding projects!!

Do you still have your L25?

I would use as big a tank as you can, for their comfort, may depend how big they grow, some variants seem to be bigger than others. be careful as you grow them up becasue you cant sex them confidently until quite big, and I have had them kill each other while growing up.

cheers Irene

There staying in my 150g tank for now anyhow whilst they grow out. In the hope I get a pair out of the 6 I have and I can sell the rest on then. The guy I bought them off said his parents bred at 18 months old?
