I'm new here...which is why I'm here...in the new group. But i have a question that I can't seem to find a straight answer for. Can I use Erythromycin with my pleco? He's a large guy, in a tank with a few tetras and danio. One danio is sick with what I think is a gram+ bacteria and fin rot, and it seems to be only affecting him. Long story short, he cannot be in QT. He is attached to this pleco like glue. He gets very stressed when separated...i learned this the last time he went to QT. if I move the danio, that might be the end for him.
Can the pleco handle a full course of the erythromycin? And how do I keep the BB from crashing during and after the treatment?
