Hi Guys need some advice setting up trickle filters used last 2 years ago do i need to cycle this in a empty tank all can i plumb and go need help depressed very depressed lost 200 pep fry 200 asorted electric blues & yellows fry 150 common bristle nose in last six weeks totaly sad story. my aquarium life suxs at this point in time all fish are at present in 48x20x20 tanks x 4 help please.:cry::wb::dk:

You need ammonia in order to cycle the filters so are you planning on a fishless cycle? Do you know why you lost the fish?
