Since picking this group up on new years eve these fish seemed to have settled in well. They had not bred for the previous owner for quite a while. As soon as i got them settled they were showing signs.

They are in a 4x12x15h tank with no rockwork at all. Just coral gravel 10mm and already hard water, Water changes are done 25l every 2 days, with untreated tap water at shed temperature.

I currently have eggs i stripped from one female in a tumbler, I did have 8 but im now down to 3 so needless to say i will be letting the females do all the work from now and only take them out to spit at 3 weeks. In the tank now there are 2 females holding, plus this one.

Below is a little video i managed to catch this morning.

If someone can edit this and place the video into the message i would be grateful. Also let me know how its done for next time.
Cheers.

nice looking fish mate. i really miss my tropheus i think ill have to get some more 1 day soon they are an awesome fish to watch in a large colony. but i think ill try and get some kasangas as they look amazing hehe.

glad you are having success breeding them, only thing i can reccomend is keep the waterchanges up and feed sparingly with a low protien diet and keep metronizadol on hand incase of a bloat outbreak, you prob know all this already just thought ide let u know incase u didnt.
