What size tank did you get?

Ive been reading the tank build threads on ultimatereef.net and some of those guys are seriously nuts ( in a good way ), the tanks and the lengths that some have gone to are out of this world. There are pictures where the guy has to get into his tank as its easier to clean it that way!!!

Thanks Jerry, when i bought my 6ft it was on the condition that i dispanded the one in the study and didnt buy another one.

Ahem, i seem to have acquired a river reef 98 in my bedroom with some Zebs in and the above tank that is going to go in the kitchen.

I used to have a marine tank before i got well into plecs and lately have been having the irresistable urge to try again.

So if the marine doesnt work out- ive got a tank for more plecs!

STOP that as well !!!.
I have just conditioned my brain to stop wanting to buy another plec to put in the tanks I have now and I just had to have a sort out.lol

When I did marine tank I loved looking at the small critters that come out the live rock with my magnifying glass also loved the industrious fish like gobys and blennys.
You will  I brought a banded shark egg thinking it would hatch (about 3to4 inches long),WRONG,more like 8to9 inches and they said feed it with lance fish on a stick,I did this and the thing smashed it against everything in the tank my soft corals took a pounding.LOL.
Took it back to the shop(lesson learnt )
Marin tanks are good fun to do.

Good luck with your project.

Congrats on the new tank! My wife cringes everytime I go on to TaoBao (chinese ebay). Luckily(?) she likes Herps so we always have use for a new tank. :)
