Hi,:hi:
I am looking for a minimum of 11 adult female ancistrus(bristlenoses) to go with my 11 wild caught males - to form breeding pairs or groups(if can get more than 11).
Wild caught preferred to ensure a good strong bloodline in the fry - but will accept tank bred if have good strong adults.

Many thanks for looking.

Hi Doodles,
Yeah I believe so Ancistris cf cirrhosus or ancistrus sp.
My WC males were sold as simply WC Ancistrus...
Saying that i do notice a few differences between them all.
1 is very black with the brightest blue eye.. absolute stunning fish.
Other looks like BN's ive had in the past (previous bed BNs in last property), some are much blacker/darker than others etc..
They were sold to me by a guy on aqua.....classified called Chris Randall

If it helps, should i try and take photos of them? (they currently have a 6x2.5x2ft tank to themselves)

Thanks
Danny

If you could get some pics and maybe get them id'd it would be good, otherwise you could end up cross breeding different bristlenoses as there are quite a few types.
