Well today I mentioned in a post that I have not had luck catching them in the act lol
I did a big water change last night since it’s been about 5 weeks? Since fry are out and about I thought that’s plenty of time female has been huge
Fed heaps today as I seen him camped out the front of his cave fanning ever so softly
as soon as I walked in the room just before I see him in his cave I thought mad got some eggs lol the tail was 2 one got kicked out thought his dumb kicking her out lol she kicked him out what I thought was him defending the cave was just her going in backwards!
So off he went straight after her he was in out front back upside down (I would like to say sidewards but not sure if he did
)
Anyways he kicked her out and he went all the way in? Im guessing to clean them!
I know it’s not that much of a big deal but hey I just gave bream a rap on his caves and earlier I said to someone that I’ve never caught them in the act now I think that is a big deal!
Okay I was waiting for female to come out before I moved and spooked them and when she did she was shaking didn’t move for a good minute or so then she was swimming around the sponge filter upside down
She was still huge did she just eat too much for I did feed allot today?
Or do they control there egg release?
If so why?
Her last batch was 100+
I know I should have filmed it but didn’t want to move lol
