Im not purposely breeding right now, so don't water change as often. I do my tanks once per week and change around 25-30% of the water. I also gravel clean 25% per week and in the tank that has sand substrate, i stir it all around every week to prevent dead spots and any other bacterial build ups that could cause damage to my fish and the barbels of my corydoras. Planted nano gets 50% change per week.

I water change fry tanks every day 25-50% (6 at present) breeding groups (or would be) 25% every night at present (7 at present) and the rest 25% 3 times a week :)

Total of 18 tanks and a lot of water, thank goodness not on a water meter

Hi all,
10% per day all tanks under about 100l, more on smaller tanks dependent upon their size, anything as small as 30L about 25% a day. My tanks are all planted, and I do sometimes have to leave them without water changes whilst I away. After 2 weeks without a water change I change enough water to get the conductivity back down to about 150MicroS, and then return to a small water change every day.

cheers Darrel

25-30% once a week or up to 10 days for a lightly stocked tank.
My reasoning is, should I get sick or have to leave for a week, all tanks will be fine until I get back and I only need someone to toss a little bit of food in for me.
