what peckoltia?

Round a mates house tonight who has some 6ft tanks with loads of stuff stashed in them. I spotted this peckoltia that is huge!!!!, Got to be over 6"TL and fat as a house. I only had the camera phone with me so sorry about the poor quality. This fish is at least 12 years old.

Is it brevis?

i hate peckoltia, get away from compta and sabaji, and they end up getting harder to i.d than most hypans!
i have one peckoltia that remains as un-i.d'd

I haven't either. I have been going round his house for 6 years and its the first time I have ever seen it. Like i said its massive and has a really striking pattern on it. So is it not Brevis?. Defo a peckoltia of some sort though.

yep, def a peckoltia, but i wouldn't have said it was a brevis
