what pumps reach what heights?

hi everyone

I am in the final stages of building my indoor aquaponic set up (the over tank planted trickle filter i had spoke about in other threads)

I need to know how high water pumps/ power heads will reach via a 1inch pipe

I need to know this for different systems as well.
I need one to reach only 1foot
I need another to reach 3foot

The amount of water they pump is not really my primary concern as i can change this via plumbing if needed...i just need it to get there in the first place!:dk:

Most pump ratings give a "head" or the height to which it can pump. Just take a look at the pump documentation.
