I have Pseudacanthicus L65 fry about a few weeks after yolk sac:) So far I have been feeding them hothouse cucumber/coureggette as well as broccolli florets a few cut up pieces of cooked salad shrimp not sure if they are actually eating it though. they seem to be grazing or eating algae.

can I feed them tetra flakes or algae pellets?

thanks! they have taken to the cucumber nicely.I fed them omega one spirulina flakes .as secondary food they do have some cholla cactus wood that is really broken down over time.I am worried now though seeing a few that look like they haven't eaten and over the last 5 days I have seen lose to 15 dead ones.

Psuedacanthicus are primarily carnivorous so I'd think a bit more meaty foods. Basically a diet similar to what the adults eat should suffice. They may even require more protein as young growing animals typically consume higher amounts of animal proteins. There is a breeding article on L114/L600 where young were raised. Have a look and see what they fed.
