Which Heater

Just done my weekley water change and left the heater on whislt i had the water drained and now my heaters playing up. its a 650Lt tank had a quick look on ebay but not sure which one to buy. is there any that turn off when there out of water?

I think the eheim 300Watt one does?
It should heat that much water as well. I just leave mine laying horizonal near the bottom of the tank, then I dont have to turn it off during water changes.

+1 for eheim heaters,that's all i use...i got a eheim/jager 300watt in my 6x2x2 and it does a great job...they are a bit dearer than other brands but worth it in the end,highly recommended.

Eheim is the only way to go.

ok...just let me clarify, i don't think these heaters turn off when the water gets to low, but they are made from a special type of glass that can handle sudden temperature changes...look at this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gD8KPbJcRw
