Ingo Seidel wrote something like:
"The body shape and pattern match not L48 and L253. It might be a L14 from the middle Rio Xingu."
Unfortunately he is not sure. :(

looks just like my old L048, i found that when mine was small, the spots were irregular, but they became more uniformed as it grew bigger and looked almost identical to yours

First impression was L48 but I'm not completely certain. I don't think it is L253 though.

Several years ago I had a very similar Scobi that I bought without an ID your fish appears to be the same. One thing I notice with this fish is the rather chunky area where the body joins the caudal fin. This I think is usually slimmer in other Scobi's.

I have heard of a differant colour variant of L14 but have never seen one, so can;t comment.
