Which tank?

Hi all. Wonder if you can help, I've got some young 1" plecs arriving in a few weeks and just wondering which tank I should house them in. I have a 3foot tank with a pair of L129 and chain loaches in or a 50L tank that is currently home to some young L129 around 2". Should I empty the smaller tank out and put them in there (with the thought it would be easier for them to get food) or in the bigger tank?

Can you give us an idea on how many chain loaches are in the smaller tank? also how many 1" plecs are you getting? I would be inclined to place them in the smaller tank as you would have more control over their feeding requirements without the other fish getting involved...The 2" 129's should be able to cope in the larger tank

Sorry that was a bit crap of me! There are 8 chain loaches in 'the 3 foot tank and im getting 5 1" plecs. I like having closer control over there feeding tbh

I would use a "empty " tank due to the poss of infections.
