Wormer Plus is a Flubendazole based medication effective for use against gill flukes, body flukes and intestinal helminths. Wormer Plus can be used at any temperature and will not harm plants or other tropical fish. Safe to use on stingrays, puffer fish, and one week old baby fish fry. It is recommended to treat any valued discus, or aquarium fish once a every month for trouble free fish keeping. Cats, dogs, horses, pigs, even chickens & pigeons are wormed regularly, so why not protect your treasured fish for a small price once a month? This will ensure that parasites, and pests are kept down to safe numbers. For use with all tropical freshwater fish. Worms are a fact of life for Discus; every Discus carries its own complement of worms much the same as we humans carry bacteria & viruses.
When in good health these worms are not a problem, but as soon as the fish is stressed its natural immunity is compromised and worms can take a hold. A sure sign of worms is if the fish is wafer thin, sometimes dark in colour, yet still feeding. We try and keep fish in a small glass box, this ‘home’ is much smaller than they are used to in the wild. So is it any wonder that they can become stressed, and parasites build up in a ‘closed’ system? This product will control tapeworms and other helminths & pest. Warning: This medication may kill some types of snails, other large parasites & invertebrates. Any of these species will need to be moved to a second aquarium during treatment, if they are wanted pets. Before use: There is no need to switch off UV.
Turn off protein skimmer for a minimum of 24 hours, but take any carbon out of the filter for four days while using wormer plus. This product will biodegrade down after four days. No water change is necessary after treatment. Directions: Shake contents of sachet well. Measure out the correct dose for aquarium and dissolve in a little amount of aquarium water, in a food grade container. It doe’s not matter how much water is mixed to dissolve the treatment, as long as the correct dosage is measured out for the aquarium that is being treated. Dosage: Use 0.3g, or one level 0.5 ml scoop (included), per 30 gallons (114 Litres) of aquarium water. This is designed as a one-off treatment but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestations. Health and Safety: Store in original container after opening. Store in dry conditions between 12ºC and 25ºC, to keep this product in good condition. It will then last the remainder of the sell by date. Keep away from pets and children. Contents: 50mg/g Flubendazole, naturally sourced Calcium Carbonate, & 0.01% Azadirachtin This Veterinary Medicine is marketed in accordance with the Small Animal Exemption Scheme. Manufacturing licence number: SAM0002

Well I am finally trying this stuff, to try and get rid of planaria,
it says it breaks down after 4 days. I have had some in a tank for 2 days now and the planaria are still alive and creeping about...
does this mean it does not work on planaria? or I need to wait a few more days?
thanks

maybe I have a bad batch then or I have dosed too weak... , cos not only are the planaria still alive so are the mts. or maybe they need two doses to sort them out as well, as I have never used this stuff before.
useful to hear other peoples results.
