Would love to know if my fish is male or female!

Hey Guys,

Is there an easy way to sex my pleco? I've just naturally called it a he since I first got "him". I'm not sure what you look at to sex them, but here are a couple of shots.

I don't think Pterygoplichthys species (your fish) display many of the usual characteristics that we use to determine the gender. But you can probably tell by the shape of the genital papillae, a pointy pyramid shape indicates a male and more rounded shape is female.
