Zebra sexing (again)!

Hi all, would anyone like a go at sexing some Zeb's for me please?
Fish numbers 1-4 are approximately 2.5-3 years old.
Fish numbers 5-8 are only approximately a year old so I realise they are too young to sex with any certainty but I would be happy to hear any opinions.
There are 2 pictures per fish.

looks very female heavy... first 4 dont really show any male traits so you look to have 4 girls... and smaller ones are really just guess work... possibly 2m2f...

obviously you havent had any eggs yet... do the first 4 cave very much ?

Hi John,
thanks for looking, to add a bit more info, there must be at least one male in the first four as the second four were the suprise offspring off them. I think it may be the first fish as that does cave.
I would be very happy if I was female heavy

Fish one would be your main male. The other 3 could well be females.
Fish six will be the rival male. Fish eight may also be a male.

Thanks BrenGun, I've just split them up so the first four are now in a tank by themselves. If he is now the only male would he benefit from a little competition or would you leave him alone to enjoy his ladies?

I would keep the 8 together. Males seem like they need a bit of other male competition to get them in the mood to allow females in their log.

yes your right no 1 is a male... after i blew the pics up large it appears to have large cheek odontodes from above.... the other 3 donot.... :thumbup:

Hey no worries John, I'm still overjoyed that I may have 3 females.
Bren I've added some more male blood to give a bit of competition.
