Just bot back from a long and annoying trip/work. Went to see my fish and all are doing great. I rearranged a few tanks. I had to take my young Panaques out just in case I dropped some wood on them. This was a great opportunity to take some pictures.

These I have posted pics of when they were really small. I had all these since they were only .75''-1''. They have grown a lot since I bought them. Its been a few years since then.

Here are the young 27's. I have had these since this January. They have grown quite a bit since then.

Yes, I must have missed this one. It is lovely to see buckets full of chunky Panaque :D

How much have the L027 grown since you've had them? Do you keep them all together?

In my 150cm/5ft tank, the two largest Panaque (23cm/9" L027 Xingu and L190) have recently started growing their 'chew chew' and have been bickering more often. The rest of the smaller ones are still fairly placid.

Thank you :)

From what I can tell they are all the same type but I am not too sure as to what river they came from. Sold as "Xingus" which they aren't, at least I don't think they are.

I just have to wait to see what they turn into ;)

Thanks :)

I am guessing about an inch TL or a bit more. Much faster than I expected.
I have been doing water changes on their tank almost everyday.

I keep them together with the 190's and 330's I posted pics of as well. There is also a scobi sp. of some sort and 3x L-14's plus 4x P. Titan. When I first bought them I tried spreading them out over a few tanks but the fighting was out of control. So I put them all in the same 75gal and the fighting has stopped completely. I just over filter the hell out of the tank and WC's are a regular thing. It sounds crowded but when you look at the tank you'd think it was empty. Plus no torn fins or marks on them so it is working :)
I find the smaller the Panaque the bigger the fight in them.

My bigger guys don't even look at each other. They share the same carrots when eating and all seem to be best of friends. I am going to tare down their tank soon I hope. I will snap some pics when I do.
