Can't wait to see what they will do. I seen the male go right in the cave whgile the female stayed off to the side. I will only keep these if i get them to breed other wise they will be up for sale.

That is what i am thinking also but i got all the paperwork from where they originally came from and it said L114. i am leaning more towards the L600 also.

Thanks

I have been doing a little more research and it is all very confusing between the L114 and the L600. From what i gather the L114 has spots on the head about the same size as on the body. While the L600 has the tiny spots on the head. By all rights and from what i see these are L600 which to me is a better pick up. Now i need a breeding expers opinion. Which one will take care of the eggs? Male, female or both? I cannot see inside of the cave but some times the male is in there and sometimes its the female. and they never come out during the day. They get real mad when I get to close to the cave.

Thanks
Jeff

Differences between L114 & L600:
L600 smaller spots on head than body, L114 about the same size.
L600 solid orange tail, L114 typically spotted through tail (look at my avatar & you can see it)
L600 solid orange band down dorsal or at least significantly more orange.

There is a breeding report on L114/L600, i'll see if I can find it.

Thanks for the info I had read that article twice already. It is actually good news to me that they are L600. i am really happy. I will update with breeding success or failures what ever the case may be.

Thanks I am moving the 3 of them to a 90 gallon by themselves. They will have more hiding places and lots of big caves to choose from.
