MINOR Filter issue!!!

Hi,

My Aqua One CF-1000 has been thowing a fit letting in air somewhere today, narrowed it down to the inlet tap and now will not go back on to even the malfunctioning stage it was at before i started investigating!

Fact is i need new taps and o-rings! I believe my lfs stocks them so i should be in luck, however, its after 10 at night and no lfs is open, im at work all day tomorrow and cannot buy and fit the new taps until tomorrow at least 6pm.
I have a second filter in there anyway so im not overly worried about my water quality, what i am bothered about is the bacteria in my canister, with no water running through it for almost 24 hours are they all going to die?!?!?!?!? if so, how can i prevent it??

As a side note, my fish seem super happy that the filter has stopped working, do you think the fish did this? ha

if not too late, place you filter media in a bucket with a heater and airstone for water movement. I would however not use after 24hours if left idle. hope this helps. cheers jk :thumbup:
PS for the suspect, look for the fish holding the piercing tool :lol:

cheers for this BB! Did as you said, got my new taps and fitted them, lovely job! going to be taking readings everyday to see if anything moves :S

I found the tool that broke it, hidden under a rock, but no fin prints!
