hello guys and girls

A previous thread inspired me to photo my cory twins. I picked them out of the lfs because they had one eye. I thought it must have been from fighting but then i realised it was the same eye on both corys that was missing... so ok strange but not totally impossible but once home and we got a real good look it actually looks gernetic as there is no scaring, no hole...

dereck if you want what i am on you will need the following

1, lots of medication
2, more drugs (perscription of course)
3, animals (nothing kinkky)
4, a very comfy bed
5, a great wife
6, cerified crazy ;)

but re: the cory twins they are the most active int eh tank. they sit together, side by side with the eyes they have facing outwards and it looks like they are telling each other whats going on on the side they cant see. love umm!

Someone's got to love the strays! Good for you ccole for giving these one eyed fish a good life. Most people wouldn't have wanted them, but someone special did!

I can understand what you are saying about it looking genetic. I bought a group of upside-down cats a few years ago and one of them had the same type of thing, you can not even tell where the eye should have been.

just like humans i guess.... when it rains it pours. I mean in terms of groups of people with disabilties. Relations tend to have simular if not identical issues.

I think its amazing watching fish that are different from the others. How they find food by dipping there head slightly closer to the ground. I had a gourami that had a bend back that i took in and he ruled the group. He would use his tail like a boat propeller and was faster than the rest of the group for it. Only problem he had was his short life from the poor conditions he came from. We called him tim after 'tiny tim' from a christmas carol.

wow that was a ramble!
