External Problem in going to cry!

I have an External Aqua One CF-1000.

one of the tap started leaking 3 weeks ago, as well as letting in air, i replaced worked for 4 days, started letting in air again! replace all the o-rings etc. worked for 7 days and its letting in air again!!!!!!

its driving me nuts, as its in my main room and its soooooooooooooooooo loud!

i don't know what to do?!?!? iv replaced taps and o-rings, there is no leaks at all anywhere, no water anywhere coming out of the canister of in/ out pipes!

how is air getting in the canister and making this infernal noise!!!???

i don't know what to do and ready for slamming my head against the glass! please help

Sorry for that. Any chance you have a hair line crack in the plastic cannister or even in one of the hoses ? cheers jk :thumbup:

Air can get into the canisters if you have air stones too close to the intake pipe.

I do need to invest in quality, but can't afford it just yet. I think BB might be right though, its not near my air stone, however, I didn't abit of shaking banging and bashing I'm my exploding fury and its not let air in once some how?! I know it will only last 2 days at most and the fact iv brought it out of the cupboard and sat in the middle of room will annoy me (dernt move it, incase it starts again!) But the silence is golden!

I have a few of those filters. They have been running non stop for six years + (apart from when infrequently cleaned). Try cleaning the impeller and the passages in the head. Check the primer plug hole. There must be a reason for the noise. Mine run silently. Be careful when fitting the taps. They should thread on easily. If not try again don't force them.
