i have had stacks of bn spawns over the times but only just now has problem struck me.

dad will fan the eggs all a okay til they venture out, ill leave them in the tank for a week or two then move them into the fry saver in the SAME tank because the adults start to get snappy hehe.

then theyre all okay then slowly but surely and persitantly they drop off few by few everyday the waters well filtered no ammonia or anything bad in results
glass bottom tank ive tried plastic fry saver then to mesh saver to allow more water flow i dont know what the heck is going on?!

how big is the saver? i suspect the bare bottom could be the problem, as film can build up? are they eating well with a good variety of food?
if the fry saver is very full of fish maybe the water flow is not enough?
do any that you leave with the adults also die?
how big is the main tank? can you post a picture of it?
think about getting a second tank for them?

when ive left them in theyve just dissappeared or slowly died off, i have a massive net fry saver in it and only the fry about 100 or so are in it in the flow of the filter with dw and almond leaves, ive tried plastic net leaving them in parents tank having their own tank, would yu recomend own tank with gravel? yeh they die with the adults too the main tank is 2ft
shall i try 18' tank grow out with gravel and plants etc?

i would also agree, they are struggling to get food. Then you feed a lot and the film build up. I would maybe try more water changes and adding some gravel in the fry saver with another airstone. They constantly need food and not just once a day, however this is a catch 22 situation as any uneaten food will then start to fowl the water. just my thoughts cheers jk
