Any Idea's?

I've acquired this pleco but not got a clue on what its id is.
Can anyone help id it so I can make sure it ends up in the right tank water wise and fed the right food.

L147 fits in perfect for my community tank. Just hope he pushes the apple snails out the way for food as they starved my l200 by over running the food all the time

loaches are the best fish for getting rid of snails in a tank. try them and then return them to you LFS if you can. CHEERS JK :thumbup:

first thought was an L075 but maybe a little orange for L075 as the ones i have seen are definitely lighter in colour more cream than orange...

but definitely a peckoltia by the looks

No I want to keep my snails! I keep sticking loads of them and even loads of apple snails in my L333 tank but they just see them as s snack along with cherry shrimp.
Had a look at a lot of l147 images and seems like that could be it. Settling in well and eating fine but not touched courgette or sweet potato but not ate any snails yet. Early days yet so will just need to keep an eye on it

It maybe L147 or L75 as others has indicated. It would be better to get full body pictures to be sure. L147 is a much smaller pleco while L75 is more streamline. The pictures you have are abit distorted and hard to judge the body shape. The pattern of the fish does indicate L147. Taking picture of fish in a plastic bag is definitely no ideal.

I know taking a picture in the bag isn't ideal but thought it could be the best chance to get a pic as typically pleco's take to hiding and a picture might not be possible. i'll try and get a new one now its settled in, could be a challenge though haha
