Hi all,
Fantastic picture, I wonder whether there was something on the wood attractive to them, I think it is probably Elm (Ulmus), so fungal spores/hyphae would be a possibility.

Hi all,
Interesting, "Sumatra Wood", the UNIPAC wood? certainly isn't bog-wood or a root, definitely branches, so presumably drift wood and could be any tropical tree. Nice though, and much more natural looking than mopani.
cheers Darrel

i have a piece of wood in the predator tank thats got some lovely algae growth on, will make a nice centerpiece when that tank eventually becomes a fully Planted affair.
