l400's?

Hi Folks

Purchased half a dozen of these last week and managed to grab 3 of them for some photos, purchased as L400's but just want to confirm, ive never seen these in the flesh until i purchased them and to me they look really varied . Just wondered if somebody could confirm as i know a few of you have some. size wise they vary from just over 2 inch TL to just under 3 inch TL.
Apologies for the poor pictures that follow, i never realise how bad my photography skills are until i need em!

They look like L400

Could be 66/400/333 or any other black and white hypan at 2" TL

Where did them come from? If they are from a breeder then you will have a better chance of ID

they came from pier last week, the only thing that concerns me is half of them look a different shape, let alone different markings.Although as they are still small this could change.
I think pier get them in from a private breeder but im not sure. i'll ask them.

if pier had them as tank bred L400's, then thats more than likely what they are, they do get some of their plecs from a reliable breeder

I think il be going back for the other half dozen and letting them grow on.

They are stunning fish and really active too, one of them is the greediest L number ive ever owned, as soon as the lids up for feeding its straight out, i was toying with the idea of going back down for the others today, but a friend who is down there at the moment has just picked me up 3 female and 1 male L333 (black & whites) so ill occupy myself with them for today instead. always pleasing to pick adult hypans up.

It was down to you that i found these, after i pm'd you about the one's you had for sale and you put me in the direction of pier. Infact i blamed you earlier as well when i bought the l333's from there. lol
