Here's a couple of pictures of my ABN in a 46 gallon bow front tank. They are from 1 inch to 1 1/4 inch long. I just added this new piece of driftwood and they are loving it!

I have over 100 in this 46 gallon tank. They now pushing 1 1/2 inches long and are around 4 months old. I also have over 100 fry still in a breeding tank that are now about 1 inch long and around 6 weeks old. I also have between 150 and 200 fry in another breeding tank that are around 3 weeks old. They are almost 3/4 inches long. All together I probably have around 400 give or take a few. I have also just recently sold around 300 that were between 1 1/4 inch to 2 inches. I really needed to get rid of them because I was running out of room! I've just bought a new 75 gallon tank that I'm going to grow some of them out in.

Hey Doodles. I called the shop where I bought the wood, and all they knew was that it was an African root. They weren't even sure of the exact name. I bought it at the "Aquatic Critter" in Nashville, Tennessee. Wish I could be of more help. :dk:

Thanks Pete! When I get the 75 up and running, I'll post a picture of the wood that I bought for it. It is much larger and even better looking. It is the best looking piece of wood that I have seen! It is also the same type of African root. Wish I knew exactly what kind it is. :D
