Just wondering if anyone can recommend decent heater and air pumps.

The Marineland Stealth Pro-Heaters just don't seem to last me more than a year or two. And as for air pumps, the design of the Whisper 100 diaphragms is just plain bad.

Thanks

ive found that rena are very good at most things, aquariums, filters, airpumps and heaters. the rena airpumps are very quiet, (most other companys arent) and rather powerful. the black rena smart heaters are very reliable, and unbreakable. And fish cannot burn themselves on them. they can be connected to most rena externals. this is what i would go for :D

I use the tetra whisper air pumps, never had any problems with them although they aren't as quiet as tetra imply. As for heaters, i agree about the stealth heaters after mine was removed from tank along with the electric charge it was producing in the water. Haven't found any particular brand that says wow use these but i replaced it with an interpet one which seems ok. I have heard the rena smart heaters are quite good but havent used one.
Don't know how good the new fluval e series heaters are but theres a review here
