fairly easy to sex, so long as they are mature.
males will get very "hairy"

the best way is to see their pump. males have pointy ones while females have round ones.

i have heard females to an extent can also get gill plate odontones and somehair alon their tails but not to full extent

yes femails have some hair but mature males have more.
they are also a different shape when viewed from above but may take an experianced eye to tell.
