Can you Name the Cory?

Hi everyone one of my friends bought a tank containing some Corys One is a Swatzai and the other is.... Well we dont know! Can anyone name the Corydora so he could maybe find some more thanks

I had a look through various sites and couldn't find a cory that says yeah thats it. Is yours a juvie?

Ah right humm... its not my cory its a friends but its a good 1.5" he was given it and wants a few more but doesnt know what breed it is to go get some

i can't i.d the corys myself but if you look on the site below it has a great list available to view with info on each type. it also has info on breeding methods. a great site. but not better than PP. Of course.:clap::clap:

It looks a lot like Kampfers unidentified cory which after looking through photos again looks like c21

Yeah it looks just like the photo C numberd corrys are quite rare arnt they? Ive never seen any in shops before, dont think my friend is going to come by anymore in a hurry

I'm not sure how rare they are but there doesn't seem to be many people with c21

I'd go with ambiacus, these can be quite variable but it looks to have the right shape, it looks a bit pale/stressed in the first pic but the second pic shows the black blotch a lot clearer at the base of the dorsal that I'd expect to see as well as the gold 'cap' behind the head.

The latest picture and shows the little critter better I did check out the Ambiacus but from the pictures I have seen the head looks flatter from the dorsal fin to the mouth. I know I'm a beginner but looking on the web the Cory so far that looks anything like it, is the Agassizii, I have tried to upload the picture but no joy so until my mate can come round it will have to wait.

If you want to upload from your comp then via the gallery is the only way. Theres a link on the navbar
