So what are they now?:dk: I know that they are not L134 as I have both and the fish pictured is a Hypan. What is a comptas? My Avatar is the same fish.

5cm now 10cm and I purchased them as L318? when you go to planet catfish and look up l318 they are different and when you look in the back to nature guide they even look different from the one on planet catfish. But when you look in the l# log they look like the L318 which is what I purchased

Can you get a side pic in the water?
Looks like a L134 to me also. L134 has been described as Peckoltia compta that's what everyone was talking about. There are the classical striped L134 & the spotted ones. Yours looks like the spotted version.
Like this one from PC:

The fish pictured is clearly not a hypan and as other members have already pointed out is in fact Peckoltia compta (formerly L134). A close inspection of the mouth would easily rule out hypancistrus of any kind.

peckoltia comptas is L134 (newly named)

EDIT: sorry, didn't see all the replies that had already explained this

SO is this the mouth of a Peckoltia? Look at the eyes and the fish are Gray. It has the same eyes as L260 and same the mouth

The older they get the more grey they go. They use to have more stripes
