faded fins

hi all. does anyone know wot could be doing this to my betta:

this fins are loosing the colours..:dk::cry:

never seen this before mate, might be bacterial.. the eyes look quite popped out to :dk:
treat with something like melafix and keep the water top notch. keep me posted mate. fingers croosed for ya

cheers,his eyes have always been like that,thats wy we call him popeye.
he was fine yesterday.
ive posted a help thread in "bettafish.com" to see if anyone can help.
