Hi all,
Give them a wash under the tap, and an inspection for snail eggs. They are usually dipped in something fairly nasty before they are sent out (hence the wash).

You can dip them in fizzy mineral water if you are still worried, in doesn't hurt the plant and the CO2 will kill any hitch-hikers.

cheers Darrel

How did your experience turn out with the plants? Were you able to kill any snail eggs that may have been on the plants? I'm in the same situation with plants coming in and I want to make sure all the snails and eggs are killed before putting them in my tank.
