I could be barking completely up the wrong tree but I think that your Leporacanthicus L240 might be Leporacanthicus L007 or even Pseudacanthicus L097 or L282. It's just that a couple of the features on your pictures don't look right for Leporacanthicus L240.

I didn't think that any Leporacanthicus grew caudal filaments as shown in picture (Pointing to Pseudacanthicus). From the top down picture one the fish on the left looks very spiky (Pointing to Pseudacanthicus). The dorsal fin (although not fully erect) doesn't look the right shape (Pointing to Pseudacanthicus or L007). The spots look too large and too few (Pointing to Pseudacanthicus or L007).

Hopefully someone with experience with these fishes can weigh in.

well, my husband and i were pretty sure it is L240s but please ignore my titles if you think it is different L numbers. also a few weeks ago someone advertised L240 which is an exact copy of my fish, only bigger. i just want to share some picts with you guys, any other comments and suggestions very welcome.

@brengun: sorry its just someone took my photo before and posted in their personal collections and when i told them off, they said i dont have any proof that the pict were taken by me. sorry if it bothers anyone with my name on it, but i just want to be safe
