Apistogramma Kelleri on yet another batch of eggs (not getting excited though this is the 4th lot all previous have been a no show)

Apistogramma Atahualpa with more wrigglers (2nd lot of fry)

L66 on a another batch of eggs

Centromochlus perugiae on a batch of eggs and i have fry growing on nicely

Corydoras Weitzmani laying again

Corydoras Sterbai laying but in a community tank so no hope for them

And......after about 3-4 weeks of getting them my Copella Arnoldi (splash tetra) have spawned! Very interesting fish as they lay their eggs above the water level and the male keeps them wet by splashing water on them.

Hi all,
Congrats all around Did you get them from Steve Chesters? and what did they spawn on, did you use an artificial plant?

cheers Darrel
I did indeed. They spawned on the side of the glass. i have the water level quite a bit lower than the rim. I found another lot of eggs the day after but i think they are all infertile. Next time i see some i will try to hatch them artificially

Update: the first 2 spawns from the splash tetras were infertile however they are very busy bees and have laid another lot which look good they are now in a fry trap with a couple of weitzmani eggs i managed to find.

The Apistogramma Kelleri have surprised me, the female is now caring for about 30 wrigglers which compared to other spawns i have heard about is very big. Im chuffed to bits seeing as no one thinks these fish will ever be imported again...or not for a while atleast. just need them to get to free swimming then i'll be as happy as a pig in muck.
