ID for these 2 please

I got these today as part of a job lot of fish, can anybody tell me what species they are please? The BN is a beauty, about 5" to 6" long and very chunky and the golden cat is about 7" long, looks like a type of Syno but I am not sure.

A bit difficult to ID with any certainty from those photos. Overhead isn't the best angle for ID, side view would be better.

Kinda looks like maybe a Hemibagrus for the second one. Barbels are wrong for a Syno.
