Hi, I saw these on eBay before you had posted here and thought they were pretty smart. I do have one concern however and hope you don't take offence. The end seems like it cause injury if a large plec were to suddenly dash into it, would it be easy enough to bend the end under?

Yes i had thought of this, i could bend the ends under and to be honest it will probably something i will do.

The way i was thinking when i made them was that if a large enough piece of veg (cucumber etc) was put on then i would cover the end and push up against the bend so be stuck on tight (if you know what i mean)

Hi, if you bend the end over it will affect sliding a piece of cucumber on to the spike, can you not try and get hold of some new corks and supply one with each to put on the ends when the veg is on, this would also prevent it sliding back off again.

I don't think it would affect it tbh, it would have quite a positive effect as once it's on it would be difficult to slide back off.

I was thinking it might make it too thick as there would be the equivalent of 2 prongs going through so the cucumber etc would not be as secure or it may fall apart.
