After several days of hiding, my pleco decided to come out for a while. I guess he's camera shy. Hopefully, he'll snack on the cucumber that I've put out for him/her. The pleco is currently in a 20g qt tank but will eventually be moved into my 75g with lots of big driftwood.

Warning, I'm not a great photograper but I tried. Thanks again to those who helped me with my selection. And if you notice something that I should be aware of, please give me a heads up!

Hey, thanks!!! He/she is back in hiding again so I was lucky to have my camera around at that moment to get some pics. $70.00 for a fish that you never see :whistle:

Next week my 2 big common plecos are leaving my 75g. The thought of having to catch them :eek:hmy: well I'm sure you understand!

catching the commons is quite easy, just lower your water level by half and put a pail in sideways and shoo him in and quickly flip the pail upright with him in it.

Stan, thank you for the heads up on catching the plecos!!! Hopefully, it won't be as difficult as I had been dreading it would be.

lovly looking plec,i see mine every day.she,s not very yellow,more black and white.shes always out and about the tank but some knows when i won,t a photo of her,9 x out of 10 she hides.

Excellent advice, one other bit, whatever you do, DO NOT use a net. Theres a good chance they could get entangled.
