some additional requirements for a possible sale..... i want this fish to go to someone who has more L200's and is genuinely wanting to establish a good size colony with the intent of breeding them in the future.... i will only sell the fish to someone after im satisfied you have more L200's and your a quite capable fish keeper... these fish are becoming rarer by the day.... and if i could find another 6-7 x L200's i'd keep this fish... but seeing i havent been able to do this im prepared to let it go to someone who has more L200's

Is it the Hemiancistrus subviridis or Baryancistrus demantoides? Both have the "L200" number.
from the picture i thought you woulda seen the dorsal fin doesnt join the next fin towards its tail (sorry i forget what the fin is called) so you can assume its not a hi-fin variety... so its just a plain L200 not the L200a variety

so its hemiancistrus subviridis..... :).... but fair question as not everybody knows the physical difference between the two species.... they are very closely related (cousins so to speak)... somewhere amoung the evolution some 200's went to one part of the river system and another group went to a different part of the river system and developed differently over time leaving us with 2 differently classified fish... i think their eating habits are much the same.... and dare i say they would breed with each other 200/200a....
