Can't see any black seam to the fin so its not L102.
The spots look a bit big to be a L201 and they only grow to 10cm anyway.
I would say you have very rare in Australia Hypancistrus contradens. They gorw to 12-13cm.

Where were you when I was chasing a female of them? Flaming heck I would have paid a $1000 for one. <3

Thetechden now has my male, since he's got plenty of spare tank space for him. :)
He was 12cm when this photo was taken.

He always was obese, maybe Techden can get some weight off him.

Yes that is what my one look like, the most noticeable different is the stocky body, the bigger dot and the hair on their body.

def not LDA33, not a baryancistrus, the mouth is way too small for 1, i'd go with Contradens too, very similar to Brenda's albeit somewhat slimmer
