pain in the bum to catch.
I tell people they grow massive and that stops them asking me to catch them

They hide most of time, just coming out for feeding...Its not unheard of for the loaches to disappear for many months then suddenly show themselves...The more of them you have in a tank the more chance you have of seeing them.

make sure you have your filter intake covered. they have a reputation of ending up in the filter. They are very cute and I would get 5 . You then get to see them more. have fun cheers jk

Hi all,
They like some company (keep 4 or more), and a planted tank with sand substrate and plenty of places to hide (they like leaf litter, pipes etc). They are one of the few loaches that will spawn in a tank, usually amongst the plants, the eggs are bright green, lots of Java moss aids fry survival. If you feed them Grindal/white worm, Daphnia and Bloodworms they will do very well and will spawn.

The one you see most often is probably Pangio semicincta, but it is pick a name really.

cheers Darrel

I would go back and point out the "Animal Welfare Act April 2007"
the death is not the point the clear abandon of responsibility is.

I just cut loads of 4" lengths of 12/16 mm eheim hose and place them all over the the tank and the Khuli's end up living in them...So easy to catch them, finger each end and the khulis are going nowhere...Simple's!
Top tip D I have a few knocking about hiding well that I have never been able to catch maybe now this is the answer cool
