Hi all, So far I have fed my L134s the occasional Frozen Bloodworms and then NLS cichlid formula on the other days. I feed small amounts in the morning around 6.30am and then again before lights out at around 8pm. They don't seem to like algae wafers as they go untouched the next morning. What could I feed them that they would really love and be worth getting? I have herd of Sera Viformo but other than that not much else.

Many thanks :D :)

Pretty much anything. Tetra bits are pretty good. Just about any quality brand food could be used. Frozen brine, krill, shrimp, meaty foods. Earthworms or earthworm pellets. Some veggies can be offered as well.

Im not a big fan of feeding frozen bloodworms to any fish as they contain almost no nutritional value.

I'm thinking tetra bits mite be good for l134 to bring the color out in the fish, I know it made a big difference in my red and gold discus and they packed on some size too, i mite try a little and see if they like it

Tetra prima, frozen bloodworm, era catfish pellets, earthworm and bloodworm pellets, jmc high protein granules (sparingly), veggies occasionally.

I find they do well on this varied diet, the females are plump and they are just trapping again after their seasonal break :D

I put some tetra bits in the tank last night and my 134s devoured it, looks like I'll add it to the feeding schedule.

thats great. Im getting Viformo but need something else to add to the schedule. Otherwise I cant give them a variety. What do you think. Viformo x 3p/week, tetra bits x 3p/week & bloodworms frozen x 1 p/week...

thanks :D

I'd try finding something other then the bloodworms but that's just me, mite be ok every know and then but I just don't like them, I had a lot of dramas with bloodworms when I was breeding discus and to this day hate them.
It's probably fine with Plecos but you can't be to careful
