got another spawn either this morning or yesterday.... heres a pic of dad from a previous spawn..... im not gonna bother him this time and hopefully he'll do all the work for me!!!

Nice pictures but would never do this myself with males guarding eggs. I believe it gives them a lot of stress wich can backfire in problems like caring for the eggs and fry.

well hopefully he'll breed really nice fry.... these are becoming my favourite fish lately..... till 128's spawn again... hopefully with some fertile eggs this time...Congrats on the spawn

yeah i havent disturbed him this time... hes got a nice size bunch eggs too... estimate around 20-25... but time will tell....Congrats Johnno

i thought i had another spawn in the cave next door this morning... but i had another peek this arvo and another male still has his female in the cave....
saw a 1.5cm fry on the glass tonight... hmmm thats a bit early for fry....
quick shine of the torch in males cave... see a few wrigglers....
lift up some wood and slate and i found 3 more.... other male had a sneaky spawn on me.... found two others at 3cm (musta been another sneaky!!!)
so all up theres 5 adults... 10 x 4-5cm juvies as well... 2 x 3cm... 4 baby fry and a cave full of wrigglers... grab some pics tomorrow and i'll whack em up... :woohoo:
