After looking at there vents we think the 1st is male and the second is female.

Once I get there bellys full and settled in I will get them out and take some clear pics.

They seem to be doing well there both eating and Shiting like mad! The female is the real boss of the tank. She has kept her choo choo and likes to flex it when the male comes near her.

I dont know why but the smaller panaque are a lot less skitish and active. i dont know if its he 30 red phantoms or the big ens that have helped with this?!

I put two forks with a big lump on either end everyday including

Marrow
Courgette
Sweet pot
White pot
Carrot

I try to feed the softer stuff just before water changes so it gets well cleaned up. I have also started putting algae wafers once a week.

I picked up my new addition last night

9.5" L27, Hes a little patchy but im hoping it will settle down? His belly seems fairly flat and hes been eating last night.

And just a little update on the small xingu. i think his colour has change a little (for the better.
